Estrie’s University-Based Digital Health Hub
Innovating health. Connecting knowledge. Transforming care.
The Estrie University-Based Digital Health Hub aims to improve population health and transform social and healthcare services through research, training, evaluation, and knowledge transfer. By simplifying access to big health data and promoting responsible digital approaches, the Hub contributes to more personalized, safe, relevant, and citizen-centered care.
Born from a partnership between the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS and the Université de Sherbrooke, the Hub brings together over 35 researchers specializing in digital health across three key research centers: the CRCHUS, the Research Centre on Aging (CdRV), and the University Institute for Primary Health and Social Services (IUPLSSS). Together, they lead innovative projects integrating artificial intelligence, digital tools, and best practices in health data management.
The Hub also acts as a catalyst for interdisciplinary collaboration through its regional digital health committee, which includes researchers, clinicians, professors, and patient-partners. It supports research projects at every stage, facilitates secure access to CIUSSS health data, develops technological solutions, and hosts scientific events that showcase regional expertise in digital health.
